A Day In The Life Of A Prodigy Camper

by | Jul 2, 2021 | Uncategorized

What should I expect in a Prodigy afternoon camp?

You have packed your child’s backpack with some snacks and their water bottle. You’re on your way to Prodigy with your child who may be nervous and anxious at the same time.  (this is often how parents feel as well) but don’t worry, our professional and friendly coaches will make those feelings disappear the moment you arrive!

You are warmly greeted by our coaches who straight away welcome your child and introduce themselves, asking for your child’s name, how old they are, gives them a big air five, and signs them in.

Your child is assigned to their group (based on age, maximum of 4 per group) and is given a cool camp shirt!

Kids will be led to a series of fun drills to learn and practice new sports skills! From animal walks, exciting obstacle courses, to team games, kids will learn and practice fundamental skills that will help them participate well in all camp activities and overall contribute to their physical development!  It will all feel like play! Kids will learn a variety of sports throughout the whole week such as Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Rugby, Athletics, and many more.

4:00 – 4:15 PM – SNACK & WATER BREAK

Snack time! Following COVID safety protocols, kids will be asked to sanitize their hands before eating and to stay in their groups to avoid intermingling. Distilled water is provided by us!

Now that the kids are energized and have had some rest, they are ready to take on a new challenge in the Climbing Zone! They will have a thrilling time on the rock wall, test their flexibility and strength tackling gymnastics obstacles, learn Capoeira – a Brazilian martial art that interestingly combines dance, acrobatics, and music, and lastly bust some moves in a fun dance session!

5:15 – 5:30 PM – SNACK & WATER BREAK

One of the top highlights in Prodigy is our interactive Multi-Ball wall. It’s the first of its kind in Singapore and the only one! This mixed reality platform provides a gamified environment for kids to practice the skills they’ve learned in camp!

With tons of fully immersive programs, this is the opportunity for kids to apply their newly acquired sports skills in a super fun way!

You arrive to pick your child up, sign them out and collect them from the coach who tells you what a superstar they have been today, and tells them they are looking forward to seeing them tomorrow!

We’ve been running camps for over a decade and we understand how you, as a parent, may feel leaving your child for hours! We hope this walkthrough helped.

At Proactiv Sports, we provide kids the opportunity to experience new sports and activities, meet new friends,  improve their confidence and most importantly have FUN!

Due to popular demand (and no travel plans), we have decided to offer more amazing holiday camps in Prodigy for the whole summer! Limited slots are available starting 5th July – 6th August! Don’t miss it! Learn more or BOOK NOW here!
