Weekly Sports Classes For Kids as young as 2 years old
What to Expect
Our swimming programs cater to all ages and abilities. We can take your 3-year-old from a novice right up to an accomplished and advanced swimmer by the age of 10.
Our classes are facilitated by professional swim coaches with first-aid and CPR certifications.
PROGRAM LEVELS
We will conduct skill assessments at the start and end of the term for each child to provide the parents with feedback on their progress.
Water Starters
(Not Parent Assisted) Ideally, this class will be the first step for independent swimmers without parents. This class is designed to be a route for young swimmers that are relatively confident in the water but have no experience learning the correct swim technique and different strokes.
Level 1
(Independent Swimmers) To participate in this class swimmers should be confident in the water, be able to follow instructions, and use swimming aids to perform basic movements. Once graduated swimmers will be able to swim 25 meters using each swimming stroke and be able to submerge and retrieve items.
Level 2
(Stroke Development) To participate in this class swimmers should confident in each stroke for 50m, and swim full stroke for 25m showing correct breathing. Once graduated swimmers will be able to efficiently swim strokes for at least 100m, have efficient breathing, and perform dive starts.
Level 3
(Stroke Correction) To participate in this class swimmers should be confident swimming over 1000m in a 1-hour session, should be comfortable swimming each stroke for 100m. Once graduated swimmers will be able to increase the speed and efficiency of their stroke and be able to perform dive starts and FINA turns.
